Chocolate Fudge Brownies

This recipe is one that I have used for years.  It is so yummy, decadent and comforting.  It may make a small pan but you can definitely double it up.  This is the best to eat alone or cut in pieces, served warm with some Breyers Vanilla Bean ice cream and Hot Fudge!  The perfect dessert and my favorite may I add.

I add semi sweet mini chocolate chips or when I double it up I add the regular sized semi sweet chocolate chips.  You love a moist, ooey, gooey fudgey brownie, this is the best one I can say that will satisfy!

They are super easy and quick to make!

Chocolate Fudge Brownies
3 sticks butter, melted
3 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon salt

Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 9x13 inch baking pan.

Combine butter, sugar and vanilla in bowl. Add eggs; beat well with spoon. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually add to egg mixture, beating until well blended. Spread batter evenly into prepared pan, either grease and flour or line pan with parchment paper for easy removal..

Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars. Makes 6-8 big brownies or 24 cut servings.

OPTIONAL: Stir 1 cup of any chocolate chips, peanut butter chips..etc.. or 1 cups chopped nuts.

Wishing You Chocolaty Dreams,
Annamaria
